C’est What!? is a mobile OCR & translation app for the iPhone and Android platforms, developed by David Hoare.
Perfect for the traveler, or anyone curious about languages, C’est What!? ‘reads’ the text in a picture, and translates it into almost any language!
It utilizes a variety of public servers running OCR software, WeOCR, then sends the results through Google’s translation service. With high contrast, large text, or high resolution images, the results are surprisingly good!
